Sandvik And Foran Mining Unveil First Of Its Kind Battery-Electric Jumbo Drill, The DD422iE – Energy And Mines

Foran Mining and Sandvik have showcased their newest innovation, the DD422iE, at the CIM 2023 conference in Montreal. This battery-electric jumbo drill is part of a fleet of 20 such vehicles to be used in the McIlvenna Bay project located in Saskatchewan, Canada. In addition to its drilling capabilities, the DD422iE can also perform bolting functions.
