Foran Mining and Sandvik have showcased their newest innovation, the DD422iE, at the CIM 2023 conference in Montreal. This battery-electric jumbo drill is part of a fleet of 20 such vehicles to be used in the McIlvenna Bay project located in Saskatchewan, Canada. In addition to its drilling capabilities, the DD422iE can also perform bolting functions.
Sandvik previously announced its largest battery-electric vehicle (BEV) order, which includes the DD422iE as well as other equipment such as loaders, trucks, and longhole drills. The delivery of this equipment is expected to start this year and continue through to 2025. Umeda Dx700 Spare Parts
